Research shows that parents who participate in peer-to-peer support groups experience significant reductions in stress and anxiety, particularly in neurodiversity-related contexts. Studies also indicate that neurodivergent women. including mothers with ADHD, face elevated risks for perinatal depression and unique postpartum challenges, making access to tailored peer support especially beneficial.
