I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and am licensed in New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My experience spans a range of settings, including an inpatient psychiatric unit at a city hospital, an assisted living facility, and outpatient community mental health clinics. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) by Postpartum Support International, an EMDR-certified therapist, SIFI certified to supervise graduate students, and have completed specialized CBT training through the Beck Institute. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in individual and group therapy sessions.
In our sessions together, you can expect compassion, empathy, and validation, as well as tools to increase self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and reconnect to your resilience. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood as they navigate uncertainty, transitions, challenges, and loss. Drawing from both personal and professional experience, I have a deep passion for helping individuals, especially mothers, heal from trauma, cultivate stronger relationships, and create more fulfilling lives.
