Those looking for a space to explore feelings around your loss and honor your memories and experience.
This Pregnancy Loss Therapy Support Group is professionally facilitated by Megan Nelson, LMSW. It is a space for individuals who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or other forms of pregnancy loss. Every experience is honored, and there is no comparison or hierarchy of loss. This group is open to members that have living children as well as those who do not.
The group emphasizes mutual support and shared understanding. Members are invited to speak openly about their experiences while also holding space for others with empathy and respect. Rather than offering advice, participants practice compassionate listening, creating a culture of validation and emotional safety.
Mindfulness and acceptance are central to the group’s work. Through guided practices and gentle reflection, members learn how to stay present with difficult emotions without becoming overwhelmed. The focus is not on fixing or rushing grief, but on learning how to hold what cannot yet be fully processed within a safe, supportive environment.
The group will initially meet for 10 sessions beginning March 12th at 6pm. Following the 10 sessions, the members will have the option to continue on with another or not.
Among women who experienced early pregnancy loss, 52.3% reported that therapy and in‑person or peer support groups were helpful, and they expressed interest in a peer‑support program.
