What can I expect from this group?
Participants will :
Create a safe and supportive space that honors the experience of special needs parenting
Explore the impact of your child's needs on their family and themselves as parents
Use aspects of mindfulness, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help process the grief associated with special needs parenting
Build coping strategies and skills to improve family functioning and communication
