People with disordered eating and poor body image are so often undiagnosed, untreated, judged, and misunderstood.  Perinatal treatment is the perfect opportunity to catch and address these insidious mental health problems.  This course will provide you with the clinical tools necessary to help mindfully and compassionately combat this widespread problem in the mental health field while learning to assess and treat disordered eating & poor body image in your clinical practice.

In This Training:

1) Learn how to treat disordered eating with mindful and compassionate behavioral interventions

2) Learn how to treat poor body image with compassion focused therapy and exposure exercises

3) Learn how to incorporate family members into treatment to help support people with disorders eating

This course includes 5 hours of continuing education for $150. Approved for MHC, SW, and PSY, and PSI Advanced Course.
