About the event

Caregiving, for some, can be associated with caregiver burden, a reduction in quality of life, and adverse

health and mental health outcomes. As such, professionals are critical in providing resources, services, and

therapeutic support for family caregivers. Counselors, social workers, health providers, and other

professionals often provide support to care recipients and their family caregivers. This training will provide

an understanding of the intricacies of family caregiving, as well as clinical implications, resources, and

supports for family caregivers who provide care for one or more loved ones. Supporting the mental health
