About the event
This course is for clinicians who have been previously trained in an EMDRIA Approved Basic Training course. This course reviews the EMDR 8 Phases of treatment -from history taking, preparation, assessment, desensitization, installation and re-evaluation. Emphasis will be placed on preparation, target development for complex cases and the skills to clear blocking beliefs and abreactions.
Learning Objectives:
Review the 8 Phases of the EMDR Model
Review the client selection process
Prepare clients for EMDR reprocessing, including specific resourcing strategies and grounding.
Learn specific strategies for blocked processing and abreactions
