MFT Intern

Intern

Book a Therapy Session

Sehar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology and is currently in her second year of the Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program at Manhattan University. Her passion for this field grew from her own transformative healing journey, which began seven years ago and continues today. She believes that her personal experiences—both challenging and beautiful—have deepened her capacity to walk alongside others in their own process of growth and healing.

With a holistic and systemic approach, Sehar views individuals within the context of their environments, relationships, and unique life stories. She is committed to helping clients reconnect with the light within themselves, fostering empowerment, autonomy, and resilience. She believes in honoring both the light and the darkness, recognizing that each has an important role in our journeys.

Outside of her work as a therapist-in-training, Sehar teaches yoga and meditation, surfs, plays volleyball and tennis, and cherishes time with her loved ones. She strives to create a safe and compassionate space where clients never feel alone and are supported as fellow travelers on the path toward self-discovery and healing.

Sehar will continue as an MFT intern at HHP as she expands her counseling skills and knowledge until she graduates in May 2026.

Sehar is supervised by Megan Farina, LCSW, PMH-C.
