Joining our Postpartum New Moms Therapy Support Group means more than just sharing your story. It means connecting with other new moms who truly understand, and building a circle of support that helps you feel heard, seen and stronger in your motherhood journey.

Research shows that new mothers who engage in peer‐group support are significantly more likely to experience reduced symptoms of postpartum depression and anxiety.

What can I expect from this group?

Participants will :

  • Learn to recognize and manage the symptoms of perinatal mood & anxiety disorders.

  • Address the various transitions that occur during the postpartum period, including changes in identity, roles, and expectations.

  • Explore strategies for navigating these transitions- topics such as maternal self-care, sleep hygiene, managing stress, balancing work and family, and fostering positive infant-parent relationships.

  • Define your identity beyond motherhood.

  • Address the impact of becoming parents on relationships.

  • Learn tools to nurture and strengthen the couple's bond.

  • Create a sense of community & work together to support each other as new parents.
