About the event

Explore the transformative potential of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, enriched with the power of somatic and embodied techniques, in our two part workshop (2 hours online and one full day in person).

Delve into the foundational concepts of the IFS model and its practical application, ensuring a deeper understanding of individual 'parts' and the harnessing of 'Self' energy. Participants will also be introduced to embodiment strategies rooted in drama therapy, known for their effectiveness in addressing therapeutic challenges such as blocks, goal setting dilemmas, ambivalence, and polarization. Emphasis is placed on nurturing curiosity, creativity, and compassion through experiential exercises. Participants will leave with theoretical knowledge and an embodied grasp of the skills. Ideal for both seasoned therapists and those new to the field, this workshop promises insights and techniques that can support your therapeutic practice, paving the way for profound healing and self-discovery

This workshop will:

Deepen Your Understanding of IFS:

Equip participants with a foundational knowledge of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, enhancing their capacity to recognize and work with individual 'parts' and effectively channel 'Self' energy in therapeutic contexts.

 Introduces You To Embodiment Techniques:

Introduce and train participants in drama therapy-based embodiment strategies, empowering them to effectively address common therapeutic challenges like blocks, goal-setting dilemmas, ambivalence, and polarization through body-based exploration.

 Fosters Curiosity, Creativity, and Compassion:

Through experiential learning methods, cultivate a space for participants to nurture and integrate the principles of curiosity, creativity, and compassion into their therapeutic practice, leading to richer client interactions and enhanced therapeutic outcomes.
