Hilary Asare is completing her final year of her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at St. John's University. She is passionate about providing person-centered and trauma-informed care to clients. She believes that healing is a birthright and all people deserve compassionate support as they work through life’s challenges. Her professional background in performing arts equipped her with the skills to creatively collaborate with clients and honor their unique needs.

Hilary’s approach to counseling draws on cognitive-behavioral theory, liberation psychology, and principles of mindfulness. She looks forward to fostering your self-compassion and empowerment!

Hilary will continue as an MHC intern at HHP as she  expands her counseling skills and knowledge until she graduates in December 2025.
