Shanieza "Shaney" Juman is a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, children, families, and the geriatric population. Shanieza received her Masters Degree from Adelphi University in 2010.
As a dedicated psychotherapist, I find it deeply rewarding to observe my clients' growth and resilience as they work through their challenges. With over 15 years of experience, I effectively integrate my professional expertise and therapeutic skills to support both individuals and groups. My extensive experience encompasses working with clients experiencing chronic and terminal illnesses, caregivers, the bereaved, perinatal and postpartum populations, geriatrics, and veterans. Given my specialization in grief and bereavement counseling, I have obtained certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. Additionally, as a SIFI-certified professional, I am qualified to train and mentor new social workers.
