About the event
This series will meet for 4 weeks and cover the basics of mindfulness meditation practice. Participants will learn basic mindfulness techniques that can be brought into our hectic lives and into our practice with client.

Participants will learn:
- Proper postures and various forms of practice (sitting, laying, walking, standing) that are conducive for mindfulness meditation.
- How meditation can help us to more fully engage with our thinking and our feelings from a place of compassion and curiosity.
- How mindfulness practices can be a part of our day-to-day routines.
- How to introduce mindfulness in our therapy practices to new and existing clients and get clients buy in.
- How mindfulness practices can support healing from trauma.
- This Course includes 4 Hours of Continuing Education for $125 - MHC, SW, PSY. Â
