Kelly Webster, LMSW
I received my Masters Degree in Social Work and Masters Degree in Human Rights with a focus on women and gender , both from Columbia University. I am currently a Professor of Social Work for both Fordham and Columbia Universities. Currently, I am licensed to practice in NYS as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I have experience working in outpatient mental health clinics, nonprofits and schools. Throughout my career I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I utilize various client centered interventions with a strength-based approach.
My greatest passion is to help people break through internal blocks and to get unstuck! I approach therapy as a collaborative process that allows you to deconstruct negative self-perceptions, unpack layers of fear or doubt, and to heal the wounds of trauma in order to experience a healthy and fulfilling life. I also love to work with individuals and families to address the intergenerational patterns and cycles.
